Nobuhle (Mother of beauty)

-in this painting I wanted to bring the ancient Zulu culture into the center stage, as the name Nobuhle translating to Mother of Beauty , this piece was created to portray the beauty that the black women has which is natural, that is why I decided to take the ancient Zulu culture, which I portray in this piece with this young woman, into the light and say “see how beautiful black women were back then, still are now.”
